The valley of Cholqui is in the southernmost area of the world renowned Maipo Valley. This is where the Palacios family decided to plant their vineyard a little more than a decade ago. The wines of Tres Palacios have gained acclaim for their distinctive style and character reflecting the special “terroir” of Cholqui and also because of the minimal intervention that winemaker, Camilo Rahmer, has applied to the winemaking process. “Great winemaking starts in the vineyard,” and Camilo is completely on board in this process.
